Kamloops Rural RCMP shooting incident
On November 25th, 2010 at approximately 5:00 pm while investigating a complaint of uttering threats, two uniformed members of the Kamloops R.C.M.P. Rural Detachment attended a residence in the Sun Peaks area. After locating and arresting the 33 year old male for uttering threats, the suspect produced and pointed a firearm at the two R.C.M.P. members. Police subsequently discharged their firearm striking the male who was later transported to Royal Inland Hospital. His injuries are believed to be non life threatening.
